Med et fristilt blikk på dagens tendenser til kosmetisk besettelse og maleriets udødelige egenskaper, stilles spørsmålet: «Hva finnes på innsiden?» Nyhetsbaserte fortellinger og musikal-sekvenser animeres ved å male på glass, ved bruk av found footage og med dokumentariske teknikker. The idea of beauty is explored through a collage of live action and animation. A free-form take on the current trend of cosmetic obsession and the immortal quality of painting, the film searches for «what's on the inside». News-based stories and musical film sequences are created with paint-on-glass animation, found footage and documentary techniques.

Martha Colburn Martha Colburn pendler mellom Amsterdam, New York og LA. Kunstutdannet i USA (BA) og Nederland (MA). Begynte i 1994 å arbeide med found footage og Super-8, og har laget mer enn 40 filmer. Etter 2000 har filmene nådd nye arenaer og former, ved at elementer fra filmene projiseres som fresker med lysbildefremviser. Turné med Riksutstillinger i Norge 2001-2005. Martha Colburn is based in Amsterdam, New York and LA. Art studies from the US (BA) and Holland (MA). She turned to film in 1994, using found footage and Super 8 cameras, and has since completed over 40 films. Since 2000, her films have expanded into new venues and forms, creating environments with elements from her films, slide projections and murals. From 2001 to 2005 her works toured Norway with the National Touring Exhibitions.
