Ved Grønland driver isfjell formålsløst rundt. «Disko Bay» undersøker nye, fantasirike og uvanlige metoder for å snakke om en verdens tilstand vi ikke kan se, men som synliggjøres gjennom filmspråket. En verden der fiskerne trosser drivis, havstrømmer og årstidenes gang for å forsyne trendy barer med isbiter som har vært frosset siden siste istid. In Greenland, an iceberg drifts aimlessly…Disko Bay explores new, imaginative and singular forms to talk about a state of the world we can´t see but through the langage of cinema we can make it visible. A world where some fishermen confront the drift of the ice, the sea streams and the logic of the seasons to provide trendy bars with ice cubes frozen since a quarternary…for the pocket of some buisnessmen.

Aurélie Doutre (f. 1978, Frankrike). Etter diplomstudier i filmfoto, studerte hun regi ved ESBA kunstskole i Geneve, Sveits. Her laget hun filmene «Éol» (2000), «M44» (2001) og «Itérar» (2003), kortfilmer viet til naturens elementer. «Disko Bay», den siste i serien, er hennes avgangsfilm. Hun forbereder nå en dokumentar om eks-Jugoslavia. Aurélie Doutre (b. 1978, France) Audiovisual technician's diploma specialized in cinematography, Directing at l'esba, art school of Geneva. Here she made «Éol» (2000), «M44» (2001) and «Itérar» (2003), short films dedicated to the elements. «Disko Bay», the last movie in this series, is her graduation film. She is now preparing a documentary about the former Yugoslavia.
