Chaplins «Modern Times» beskrev menneskets forhold til teknologi i den industrielle tiden. Nå er det informajsonsalderen som skildres. Med bruksanvisningens estetikk speiler filmen hvordan vi reagerer påomgivelsene. Den diskuterer følgene av frykt, apati og isolasjon, hvordan dette overføres og brukes til kontroll - og hvordan individet viker mer og mer for den hvite støyen. Charlie Chaplin's «Modern Times» depicted man's relationship with technology in the industrial age. This new work looks at our relationships in the information age. Using imagery from brochures, it mirrors the way we react to the world around us, discusses the effects of fear, apathy, and isolation, how they are transmitted and utilized for control, and how the individual increasingly recedes into the white noise.

Christopher Coleman har en BFA fra West Virginia University (2001), MFA fra NY State University (2003). Har også studert mekanisk ingeniørteknikk, noe han gjør bruk av i sine installasjoner. Arbeider med skulptur, performance, interaktiv installasjon og video. Hans arbeider har vært vist i bl.a. Singapore, Sverige, Italia, Tyskland og Frankrike, foruten USA. Er for tiden asst. professor ved University of Oregon. Christopher Coleman has a BFA West Virginia University (2001), MFA New York State University (2003). Has studied Mechanical Engineering, which he utilises in his installations. His work includes sculptures, performances, interactive installations and videos, and has been exhibited in Switzerland, Finland, Italy, Latvia, Germany, France and UK, among others, as well as in the US. He is currently an Asst. Professor at the University of Oregon.
