| «Ghost of Asia» er en hyllest til livet og dets gleder. Filmskaperne forestiller seg et gjenferd som fremdeles vandrer omkring på strendene i Thailand. På en øy inviterer de noen barn til å lage en film. Barna får en skuespiller som fungerer som lampeånd, han utfører oppgaver de gir ham. Filmen er strukturert etter barnas direkte regimønster. At a Thai island, they invite kids to make a movie. The kids are provided with an actor that functions as a puppet, a ghost, to perform tasks dictated by them. The film is structured according to the kids' real-time direction pattern. The actor becomes their simulated life, their projection of things one can do. |

| Apichatpong Weerasethakul (f. 1970 i Bangkok). Studert arkitektur og film (MA). Han har bred annerkjennelse for sine produksjoner, inkludert to priser fra Cannes for «Tropical Malady» (2004) og «Blissfully Yours» (2002). Christelle Lheureux (f. 1972) bor og jobber i Paris. Utdannet ved franske kunstskoler. Hennes filmer har vært vist ved en rekke internasjonale utstillinger og filmfestivaler.
